It's a great way to give back and is open to students, residents, organizations & community groups. Students may be eligible for service hours; check with school or organization.
BERGEN COUNTY WEEK of SERVICE
April 18–26, 2026)
In honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary, communities across Bergen County are coming together for a week dedicated to volunteerism and civic engagement. Participate in local service projects and community initiatives as we celebrate this historic milestone by serving one another. MEMORIAL FIELD BASKETBALL
Starting Monday, 4/6 and expected to be completed on 5/28.
Work hours will be Monday-Friday,
8:00 am to 5:00 pm
All work is WEATHER PERMITTING!
The planned project will include the
following:
Demolition of Existing Basketball Court
Construction of New Basketball Court
New Color Coating and Line Striping
New hoops
Topsoil and Restoration
Residents can expect moderate construction noise throughout the project.
