PSEG and O&R update

Dear Haworth neighbors,

Thank you again for your patience as cleanup and restoration continue, especially those of you still without power. 

I just got off my evening meeting with PSE&G and have an O&R update as well. Please note, crews on the ground typically don't have information about sites other than the ones to which they've been dispatched. 

• wires have finally been cut free from tree debris which will expedite clearing the road

• the 30 customers without power will be restored tonight—I don't have an exact time

• the telephone poles did not fall because of weakening in storm, it was a vehicular accident

• when you don't see crews, work is still being done at substations, distribution lines, etc.

Haworth Ave 

•crews have been out all day cutting and the latest estimate is power could come back tonight, but they promise tomorrow

• 40 still out on Sylvan Pl will be back on by 11 pm tonight latest

• 60 still out on Haworth Ave will be back tomorrow AM latest

• 30 still out on Schraalenburgh back on tonight

• 185 still out as of 4:30 pm; work has been done continuously onsite and off. In some neighborhoods, restoration occurred and then new damage caused some fresh outages. I've been told they will be working throughout the night, but I don't yet have more specific locations and timelines.

Again, please avoid work areas and please obey barricades and traffic routing.
