Northern Valley Demarest High School

Founded at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year NVD student RacheI Weinberg, the Let’s End Alzheimer’s Now Club or LEAN, intends to increase community awareness of the disease by fundraising to support those whose lives have been impacted by Alzheimer’s.

LEAN is asking local businesses to donate items for their auction closing on June 15. All proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The LEAN Club has set a fundraising goal of $18,000 for this school year.

They will be posting “certificates of donation” in stores that donate to the cause, and are hoping to see one in every store window in the Valley.

Attached for your information are links to our Alzheimer’s Association direct donation fundraising page and our auction website. Businesses can contact us at: nvdleanclub@gmail.com
