As you will recall, the Borough received Compliance Certification from the court for our Affordable Housing Plan; we have satisfied the conditions and now have protections against exclusionary zoning suits through June 30, 2035.As you will recall, the Borough received Compliance Certification from the court for our Affordable Housing Plan; we have satisfied the conditions and now have protections against exclusionary zoning suits through June 30, 2035.
The Borough's plan included rezoning of the two downtown bank sites (320 Haworth Avenue and 139 Terrace Street) to permit more residential units than previously, including affordable units.
The site plan application for development of 320 Haworth Avenue will be heard by the Planning Board on Wednesday 9/16 at 8pm. Like all meetings of the Planning Board, this is open to the public.
The plans will be presented by the owner's professionals. The Board will ask questions, offer comments, then invite questions and comment from residents. The applicant is able to consider and respond accordingly.
