The Mayor and Council are wishing you all a happy, healthy kickoff to summer. We hope you can join us along the parade route Monday!

And as always, we thank and honor our brave service members, past and present, and their families. We owe you a debt of gratitude all year long and will never forget the sacrifice of those we have lost.

 

Haworth Swim Club

Due to unforeseen circumstances in readying the club for opening, and compliance with municipal regulations, we will not be opening for Memorial Day Weekend.  We are working towards a tentative opening date of Saturday, June 8th.  We understand that this is an unexpected turn of events and are sorry for the inconvenience.

 

For those who have purchased 2024 Pool Memberships, the Harrington Park Swim club will offer $10/per person day passes for the days Haworth is closed: Saturday to Monday, May 25-27, and Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2. The HP Swim Club opens at 12:30 pm and closes at 7:30 pm. Kids under 2 free. HP will have an updated list of 2024 HSC members so we appreciate your adherence to this.

 

Memorial Day Parade

 

Haworth will commemorate Memorial Day on Monday, May 27, with our Annual Parade and Memorial Service. The parade will form at the Haworth Firehouse on Hardenburgh Avenue at 8:30 am. The parade will march at 9:00 am to Borough Hall for the Memorial Service. 

All are invited to come to the Parade and attend the Memorial Service. Complimentary hot dogs will be served!

 

Grass and Yard Debris

There will be no yard debris pick up or chipping on Monday, May 27. Yard debris will be picked up on Tuesday, May 28th, along with the regular garbage pickup Chipping will also continue on that day.
