Dear Haworth residents,
In anticipation of the blizzard please review the following safety guidelines and restrictions. We also ask that you check on your elderly and infirm neighbors to see if they need supplies and help clearing snow. Please report downed power lines and other hazards to the police department.
If your power goes out during this storm, report it to your utility provider immediately.

Borough Hall will be closed on Monday, 2/23 and Senior Van service is suspended.
VEHICLE & TRAVEL
- There is no overnight parking permitted in Haworth during the winter months. Plows need to be able to clear roadways
- Avoid unnecessary travel. When driving, use extra caution. Remove snow/ice from vehicle prior to driving; use headlights; increase following distance
- Please clear sidewalks that border your property. Borough Ordinance 13-2.1 Requires Homeowners To Clear Their Sidewalks Within 12 Hours Of Daylight Or Fines Can Be Issued.
- Do not throw cleared snow from your driveways and sidewalks into the street
- Please clear a 3 foot perimeter around fire hydrants at your property
POWER & HEATING
- Use generators outside only
- Check carbon monoxide detectors
- Use space heaters safely
- Never use ovens or grills to heat your home
- Limit time outdoors for yourselves and your pets
