Denman Fink
Denman Fink (1880-1956) Artist and magazine illustrator, noted for his “Cream of Wheat” ads. Came to Haworth around 1910 and lived on Westview Terrace. He left Haworth for Florida and designed many of the architectural details of Coral Gables, as well as the orange, green, and white color scheme of the University of Miami. For a time, Fink’s nephew, George E. Merrick (1886-1942) lived with the family here—Merrick is credited as being the overall planner and developer of Coral Gables.
