Charles Altman

Charles Altman (1905-1995)  Founded the dominant stage lighting company in America, Altman Lighting, in 1953. Created the now-ubiquitous “PAR 64” light (often used with colored gels) for the 1966 Rolling Stones tour.  Altman spent his early childhood years in the family home on Owatonna Street.
