Junior Memberships: The Haworth Volunteer Ambulance Corps currently has two (2) junior memberships available. If you are between the ages of 16 and 18 and are interested in joining, please call 201-384-9575. Over 18 and interested? Call us or stop by the Park Street Facility any Sunday 10 - 12.

ICE (In Case of Emergency): If you have a cell phone, you should have an ICE listing in your cell phonebook. If a medical event prevents you from speaking or remembering medical information, medical personnel can check your cell phone and call a representative of your choice to obtain vital medical information. Please add this listing to your cell phone. Make a copy of your medical history, medications, allergies, doctors name and choice of hospital to give to your representative.

Contributions: Thank you for your generous contributions to our fund drive last March. Your donations help purchase our supplies. Our new truck ERV (Emergency Response Vehicle) is in service! Thanks to all who donated non-fund drive money.

Have you always wanted to help your friends and family at times of crisis? Come and join your neighbors who make up the HAWORTH VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE CORPS. Training is provided FREE OF CHARGE, no experience necessary. We need members in all positions, and we can work with your schedule.

DRIVERS - must be at least 21 years old, have a clean driving record, be able to help lift patients and medical equipment. Drivers' training and CPR training provided.

FIRST RESPONDERS - must be at least 18 years old. First Responder Emergency training provided.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS - must be at least 18 years old. Train at local EMS facility (Paramus, Teterboro, or Mahwah).

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP - 16-18 years. First Responder or EMT training. Junior membership enrollment is limited and shall be on a first come basis.

COME MEET WITH US ANY SUNDAY AT THE PARK STREET BUILDING BETWEEN 10 AM AND NOON.

OUR SERVICES ARE ALWAYS 100% FREE! WE DO NOT CHARGE FOR TREATMENT OR TRANSPORT.
